Sports Day 2009

Posted: April 25, 2009 in Family & Friends

It’s Sports Day at May’s kindy.

The whole Family went.

May performed for the ‘opening and closing ceremonies’.

Ama teamed up with May for one of the ‘sport’ events. Winning or losing was not a priority and the organizers were not very keen on enforcing the rules of each event.

In any case, May and Ama got a prize for the team effort.

May also got a medal for the event she competed in…

and Aba was roped in to give out prizes!*

* when May received hers medal from Aba, she said, ‘Thank you, uncle’!!!

Apparently, the children were all told by the teachers to say ‘thank you, uncle’ upon receiving their medals!

Twin Binoculars

The Twins followed Ama to the Post Office to do some chores.

They waited so long for Ama that they went nuts and made ‘binoculars’ with rolled up paper.

Aba vs Ivan

Ama was preparing lunch…

Ama: Aba! It’s raining. Please bring in Ivan.

Aba (grumbling): Don’t understand why have to take care of a rabbit… have to feed… have to bath… have to clean up the cage…

Ama: Easier than taking care of Aba. (cheeky)

Toy Aba & Ama

May has been calling these 2 toys Aba and Ama the whole day, and playing with them…

A plastic cow and plastic horse…

‘cuz Aba was born in the year of the Cow and Ama the year of the Horse.

Posted: April 3, 2009 in Family Time

Since Hiro the Turtle ‘joined’ the Family, there is now a new Family ‘member’ – Ivan the Rabbit! (named after Jern’s soft toy).

It was a gift from an internet friend. Thanks!

The Kids spent 2 afternoons ‘ga-ga’ playing with the pet, since he taken in.
