Quiet!

Posted: July 30, 2010 in Ama Time

So Ama was taking the Twins to school in the ‘old’ car.

Upon arrival, Ama discovered that the inside handle for opening the driver’s door was ‘stuck’.

After some time struggling to open the door, Jern started grumbling.

Ama: Quiet! Can’t you see I’m busy!

After a moment, Jern finally could not keep it in anymore; suggesting softly: Why don’t you roll down the window and open the door from outside? Or go out the passenger side?

Ama so engrossed with door that it hadn’t occurred to her!

Stunned by Jern’s quick wits.

May’s new ‘building block’ toy – Intellectual Metal Toy.

She needed help from Ama to ‘build’ her 1st car.

But she was soon making her own stuff…

Happy Birthday To Me

Posted: July 25, 2010 in Family Time

The first thing Ama received this morning was 3 birthday cards from the Kids – which they made themselves!

They made the cards quite a few days ago but waited till the actual birthday to give it to Ama (unlike Aba, who gave birthday present 3 days ago).

Missing Child: Sarn!

Posted: July 24, 2010 in The Kids

The Family was at Genting enjoying the cool air, when Sarn wandered off by himself!

It was around the Marry Brown restaurant, First World Resort.

Aba and Ama had the scare of their lives.

Sarn was missing!

Got the security people to look for him.

After 15 minutes of heart-wrenching fear, Sarn was finally located.

3 kindly ‘aunties’ saw him, and escorted the little rascal to the security people.

Relief!

Sarn sobbing when Ama came to get him.

This is the 2nd time he has ‘lost’ himself.

Promised to stick near Aba and Ama from now on…

Movie: Despicable Me

Posted: July 24, 2010 in Family Time

So Ama brought the Kids to watch ‘Despicable Me‘ after school on Wednesday.

At the Kids’ request, we had lunch at Sushi King first.

Ama usually fall asleep during animation movies.

This time, no different, though Ama tried to stay awake…

When Elmo Grows Up!

Posted: July 21, 2010 in The Kids

Starchild (in the ‘Star’ daily) has a column for kids to send in their artwork for publishing.

May has done so before for Father’s/Mother’s day.

This time there is a special ‘Sesame Street’ event.

Hopefully May’s artwork can get the Family free tickets to the upcoming show! (normally Starchild doesn’t give out ‘prizes’)

So May made this booklet on ‘My Family’ as her school project, with a little advise and help from Ama.
