After a long time, the Family went to Steven‘s Corner for dinner again.
Kids had their favorite “pyramind” (actually Roti Tisu).

Sushi Making Fun

Ama took the Kids to the Sushi King education Programme at Cheras Leisure Mall this morning.
Reached there on time (9:30am).
After attendance was taken, there was an introduction by the Sensei.
We learnt some basic Japanese terms, like ‘irashaimase’, meaning ‘welcome’.
Next, the Sensei taught how to prepare sushi rice-mixing (in a traditional way) with vinegar, how to make it more fragrant, more delicious and sticky.
Then there was a demonstration of sushi making, including various type of sushi such as ‘nigiri’, ‘gunkan’, ‘maki’ and ‘temaki’.
We then got to practice making our own ‘nigiri’ and ‘gunkan’ sushi.
May was chosen to participate in the nigiri-making competition, and she was the best sushi maker in her group (fast and aesthetically best).
Got cash voucher as prize.
Before leaving, every participant was given a Bento box lunch set and a goodie bag.

Weekend didn’t go anywhere because of the flu virus.
Stayed at home.
Ama stuck some ‘wallsticker’ decorating around the house.
Most please with the one at the front door!
Ama used some of the stickers selling at Ama’s eshop http://wc9-limited.com just to see how they would turn out.

It was another day of house chores for Ama.
So she told Jern & Sarn to help feed Ivan with carrots from the fridge.
Quite some time later, the Twins still hadn’t come out of the house, to feed Ivan.

More Birthday Celebration

This year, Aba’s friends Azlan, Ilona and Ash, treated Aba and Ama to dinner for the belated birthdays celebration.
It’s actually the 1st time Ama had dinner with them.
The also prepared ‘birthday’ cakes.
As they weren’t sure what Ama liked, they had several types available. Yums!
